Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer with 5+ years of relevant experience to join our team in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of industrial electrical design, proven leadership abilities, and experience with onsite engineering work. This role involves both hands-on design work and providing guidance to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design projects for industrial and mining clients
- Create and review complex electrical design documentation and engineering deliverables
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafting staff
- Conduct onsite inspections and assessments when required
- Interface directly with clients and represent the company at technical meetings
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant international standards (NEC, IEC, etc.)
- Develop and implement best practices for electrical design procedures
- Participate in and lead knowledge transfer sessions to strengthen team capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical design
- Demonstrated expertise in controls, power electronics, and electrical systems
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Experience with onsite engineering work and client-facing roles
- Team leadership experience and ability to guide junior staff
- Ability to work Pakistan morning hours to align with Australian time zone (starting at 6:00 AM)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong documentation and communication skills in English
- Adaptability and willingness to travel for onsite work when required

Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly salary of PKR 300,000
